Lone Pine to Kingman, AZ

The photos are out of order....the top pic is of the tribute at the VFW in Kingman, AZ with Gary and Marj standing in the center. Gary is the grand master of this ride.

Second photo at the VFW- John Norcio, Jo & Steve Burcher enjoying a ham dinner.

Third photo - Traveling through Death Valley. Obviously a hot day....but it could have been worse. It was only 100 degrees at 10:30 at the visitor's center in Death Valley. The route we chose to take included roads with very little traffic and avoided going through Las Vegas. Only complaint (aside from it being hot) is the lack of anywhere to stop and rest. We were on I15 for less than 50 miles and endured some really ignorant drivers. At one point a car passed us on the SHOULDER going 80 miles an hour. Glad we didn't have to travel far on I15.

Fourth photo - John Norcio, Steve Biggs, Bob Jordan, Chuck Gillingham and my back at the VFW tribute.

Tomorrow we are off to New Mexico with stops for a tribute in Flagstaff, AZ. In Gallup, NM we will pick up our escort to Albuquerque.
