CLEAR LAKE ROAD RIDERS

MINUTES OF MARCH 7, 2007

President Steve Sayers called us to order at 7:00. Present were 24 members and 7 guests.

Guests: Tom Bales of Williams GWRRA, Jerry & Fran Mills, Buster, Ray, David & Margaret Rutherford & prospective member DonWhittier.

Tom Bales presented a plaque from PEDIATRIC BRAIN TUMOR RESEARCH FOUNDATION to CLRR for coming in fourth place with our donation of $8,910 at the Woodland ride October 2006. Everyone is invited to join the task force. Find info at: WWW PEDIATRIC BRAIN TUMOR RESEARCH FOUNDATION.

A correction to February minutes: a motion was made and passed to give the Adopt-a-Highway chair person $40 annually to offset expenses. I incorrectly reported it as $40/per pick up.

Treasurer’s report by Margaret Reese followed:
General fund $621.96

Ride for Kids $531.99

Toy Run: $1373.67

Grand total of $2528.62

President Sayers reported on Suzanne’s work on our blog (web log). Suzanne created the blog last year for the Torches Across America ride and uploaded trip pictures and notes along the way. She just revised the blog to include our monthly minutes and upcoming events. Go to: clear-lake-road-riders.blogspot.com.
